﷽ ➖➖➖ THE PEOPLE OF HELLFIRE AND PARADISE ➖➖➖ Eternal Pain vs Eternal Pleasure ➖➖➖ Allah ﷻ says in Surah An-Nisa
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِاٰيٰتِنَا
Indeed those who disbelieved in our Ayaat
سَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِمْ نَارًا
We shall burn them in fire
Meaning, We will place them in the Fire which will encompass every part of their bodies. Allah ﷻ then states that their punishment and torment are everlasting,
We shall burn them in Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for other skins that they may taste the punishment
Al Hasan Al Basri رحمه الله said “Their skin will be roasted through, seventy thousand times every day” Al Hasan al Basri رحمه الله also said “Whenever the Fire has roasted them through and consumed their flesh, they will be told, ‘Go back as you were before,’ and they will.”
But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to Gardens under which rivers flow abiding therein forever.
لَّهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ
For them are purified mates Free from worldly defects and features that repulse the senses.
وَنُدْخِلُهُمْ ظِلًّا ظَلِيلًا
and We shall admit them to shades, wide and ever deepening. [4:56-57]
Look at the contrast of the people of Hell and the people of Paradise. Reflect on whether we are amongst the latter or the former Because we are fast approaching the day in which we will be put into either abode.
And change, start now. Repent to Allah ﷻ before it is too late!
Imagine being burned, only to be healed and burned again! Forever! We can’t hold our hand in the fire of this world for 30 seconds!
Now imagine, being in Jannah, indulging in the never ending pleasures it offers! Purified mates! And things we couldn’t have in this Dunya!
Such is the contrast of Jannah and Jahannam! Eternal pain vs Eternal pleasure
Allah ﷻ asks أَفَلَا تَعقِلُون
Will you not use your intellect? [21:10]
