and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified be He, and High be He above all that they associate as partners with Him! [39:67]
Such is the Power of Allah ﷻ! Al Jabbar The All Powerful! And according to some, The Compeller!
We aren’t Mushrikeen, we do not associate with Allah ﷻ
But how great is our sin, when we don’t know Allah ﷻ enough, that we cannot worship him as he should be worshipped,
How greater is our sin, that We do not have Taqwa of him as we should and so we forget He ﷻ watches us 24/7 as we sin?
How great is our sin, when we choose the creation of Allah ﷻ, their love and approval over the love and pleasure of Allah ﷻ?
How great is our sin when we act out in Piety and Courage for the sake of the creation of Allah ﷻ but not the creator of Allah ﷻ?
Part of a Hadith Qudsi narrated by Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه, Muhammad ﷺ said, Allah ﷻ said “O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you.” [Sahih Muslim 2577]
Try and count your blessings! Start with every breath you’ve taken and every blink in your life! You can’t count it!
So how then, do we live knowing that we harbour traces of the same characteristic as the Mushrikeen in this regard?
