And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.
[21:107]

The Prophet ﷺ was sent as a guide and as a mercy to bring the people out of darkness into the Light of Islam!
Without him where would we be?
Without him there is no path to Jannah!
_
Yet we find that he ﷺ is forgotten and degraded through the actions of people, his ﷺ Sunnah is forgotten amongst the people… It is no longer seen as honourable!
We find that people have taken other role models in his ﷺ place!
_
We find that people will travel and make efforts in order to see and meet their favourite celebrities,
Yet people hesitate in their efforts to meet Muhammad ﷺ in Jannah!
_
What are we doing?
_
Do we not feel anything,
Even when we know the Hadith reported in Musnad of Imam Ahmad,
Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه narrated: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said, “I wish I could meet my brothers.” The Prophet’s companions said, “Are we not your brothers?” The Prophet said, “You are my companions, but my brothers are those who have faith in me although they never saw me.”
[Musnad Aḥmad 12169]

Brothers and sisters! That’s us!
He ﷺ is talking about us!!

Just think..
How much does your favourite celebrity long for you?
Do they even acknowledge your existence?
Look at the concern of our Prophet ﷺ as Allaah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:
There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.
[9:128]

Realise this!
That the only one that is able to guide you through this life by his example and lead you to success in the Akhirah by his intercession is Muhammad ﷺ!

Reflect on this beautiful Hadith.
Aisha رضي الله عنه reported: When I saw the Prophet ﷺ with a cheerful face, I said, “O Messenger of Allaah, supplicate to Allah for me.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “O Allah, forgive Aisha for her past and future sins, in secret and in public.”
Aisha رضي الله عنه laughed so much that her head fell from his lap. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to her, “Does my supplication make you happy?” Aisha said, “Why would your supplication not make me happy?”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “By Allah, it is my supplication for my nation in every prayer.”
[Sahih Ibn Ḥibbān 7266, Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Albani]

May Allaah ﷻ forgive our shortcomings and make us among those who are granted intercession by the Prophet ﷺ.
