In the eyes of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Top Eleven or ‘Best 11’
1 The best among you is he who learns and teaches the Qur’an. (Bukhari, 5027)
2 Surely the best of you is he who is the best of you. (Bukhari, 6035)
3 The best of you is he who is good at repaying debts. (Bukhari, 2305)
4 The best of you is the one from whom all hope for good, and do not fear evil. (Tirmidhi, 2263/2432)
5 The best of you is he who is good to his family. (Ibn Hibban, 4177)
6 The best among you is he who gives food and responds to greetings. (Sahihul Jame’, 3318).
7 The best of you is the one who is gentle in prayer. (That is, if someone wants to enter the prayer queue, he gives him the opportunity by softening his shoulders). (Abu Dawud, 672)
8 The best man is one who lives long and does good deeds. (Ja-Mu’l Ahadith 12101)
9 The best man is the one who is most beneficent to humanity. (Sahih al-Ja-mi’, 3289)
10 The best person is one whose heart is pure and whose face is truthful. Companions asked – the honest face is understood, but who has a clean heart? The Prophet said that the heart is pure, pure, pure, in which there is no sin, no extravagance or oppression, no treachery and hatred. (Sahih al-Ja-mi’, 3291)
11 The best partner to Allah is the one who is best to his partner. And the best neighbor to Allah is he who is best to his neighbor. (Tirmidhi, 1944)
May Allah grant us Tawfiq to attain the above qualities mentioned by the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam.
