*REVIVE THE SUNNAH OF NABI*
*ﷺ*
*SUNNATS OF GIFTS*
*S.32.* Imâm Ghazzâlî (R.A.) has written the next essential recommendation regarding items,
*1.* Is the merchandise that’s being offered as a present halâl and permissible or not? If it’s harâm and even uncertain then it shouldn’t be accepted.
*2.* The intention of the giver i.e. it’s being given with the intention of present in order that the recipient can grow to be comfortable and mutual love can enhance and never for any ulterior motive.
*3.* The recipient shouldn’t really feel or expertise problem in accepting the present due to it is being too massive of even when one feels that, the one giving the present will brag of it. In such cases, it should not be accepted.
*4.* The recipient ought to ponder upon his personal situation. Is he being on condition that present due to his personal piety of as a result of he’s being assumed to be an Aalim when in reality he isn’t, or upon pondering on his personal disposition he realizes that he’s responsible of such sin/s which might have prevented the giver to current that present if he (the giver) had identified in regards to the sin. (S.Okay.-Vol. 2: Pg. 129-130)
*S.33.* Not to simply accept items from the proud i.e. these whose intentions for giving the present is to point out of. (Abû Dâwûd – S.Okay. – Vol. 2: Pg. 130)
*ALLAH* عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ says,
وَمَنْ يُّطِعِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا ۗ وَذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ
and whoever *OBEYS* Allah and His *MESSENGER* will probably be admitted by Him to *GARDENS* [in *PARADISE*] below which rivers circulate, abiding *ETERNALLY* therein; and that’s the nice attainment.”
(4: Verse 13)
Our beloved *NABI* ﷺ says,
One who loves my *SUNNAH* loves me and the one who *LOVES* me, will probably be with me in *JANNAH.’* *[Tirmidhi]*
