Umme Salmah was the daughter of Abu Ummayyah Sohail. She was the wife of Prophet (PBUH) and born in 580 CE.
After the death of her husband in the battle of Uhd, Umm Salama got married to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in 4 AH when she was 29 years old. She and her previous husband were amongst one of the firsts who accepted Islam. She had four children from her previous marriage. A verse of Quran was also revealed to Prophet (PBUH) when He was in her house.
She outlived all the Ummahaatul Mu’mineen and passed away in 664 CE and was laid to rest in Jannatul Baqi.
