Be Grateful if Many People Envy on You
👤 Sheikh Mutawalli Assya’rowi advised :
“If you don’t find people who are envy on you, then know that you are truly a failed human being.”
This is a story that a teacher who was known to be wise once prayed for his favorite student with a very surprising prayer.
“May Allah make many people envy on you”.
So the student was shocked, but did not dare to say anything in front of his teacher.
The teacher who saw his student was shocked and said :
“When many people envy on you, it means your life is full of pleasure. Did you know that only fruit-bearing date palm trees get thrown”.
Immediately the disciple was able to understand the meaning of the wise teacher’s prayer.
It has become a formula for life
Everyone who gets favors must have envy.
The more you succeed and reach the top, the stronger the wind gusts, but few survive and many are knocked down by the wind.
In Surah Al Falaq, Allah invites us to pray for protection from the evil of envy people.
One of the evil forms of hasad (envy), a person with hasad doesn’t want to rise to the same level as you, but he wants you to go down so that you are as low as he is.
Only if you have gone down to the same level as him will he be satisfied and happy.
Like Satan’s hasad, he does not want to improve himself like Adam, but he wants Adam to be humiliated like himself in the hell of hell. (including me and all of you) also burn with him in hell.
May Allah increase our enjoyment and keep us away from the evil of the envious.
