The Day that Ar-Ruh and the angels will stand forth in rows, they will not speak
The word Ruh here is referring to the angel Jibril.
إِلاَّ مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَـنُ
except him whom Ar-Rahman allows,
وَقَالَ صَوَاباً
and he will speak what is right. [78:38] Meaning, the truth. And from the truth is the fact that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah.
Our voices which we raised arrogantly above others will be quiet in humiliation before Allah ﷻ, Imagine this scene and reflect whether you’ll have any words to say. Allah ﷻ says
وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا
And your Lord comes with Angels Row upon Row.
وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ
And Hellfire is brought near on that day. [89:22-23]
Do you think the idle laughter and chit chat or anything will come to your tongue when Allah ﷻ descends for the reckoning after 50,000 years with Angels Row upon Row?
And what about during your judgement, do you think you’ll want the arrogant confidence you had in Dunya, on Qiyamah?
