He is their fourth. If five, He is their sixth. Whether fewer or more, He is with them wherever they may be.
Meaning, He is watching them, perfectly hearing their speech, whether uttered in public or secret. His angels record all that they say, even though He has better knowledge of it and hears them perfectly,
And afterwards on the Day of Resurrection He will inform them of what they did. Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything. [58:7] Imam Ahmad commented, “Allah began the Ayah by mentioning His knowledge and ended it by mentioning His knowledge.”
Allah ﷻ informs of His knowledge encompassing all creation, observing it, hearing their speech and seeing them, wherever they may be and in whatever condition they may be in.
Allah ﷻ knows every single thing about his creation, That includes you!
And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge) [50:16]
سبحان الله
Nothing escapes Allah ﷻ Public or secret.
And everything is written down in our record of Deeds.
Everything will be apparent, What will our excuse or refuge be then?
