Please mothers don’t conclude and relax that, daughter/son of yours is morally upright and Islamically inclined because of her dressing and quietness, some of them can be deceiving.
A former student of mine was reported to have been seen on Instagram half naked, infact I was shown the pictures, this is a girl that dresses modestly, Islamically outside as at the time of the report, now she is wearing nothing but rags!
Another female student of mine was spotted on facebook recently also half naked, I almost didn’t believe my eyes when I saw the picture because this is a child that lives very close to me and she still wears her khimar and socks around, it is quite disheartening.
I went to an aqeeqah (naming ceremony) recently, the ustadh that was delivering the lecture almost broke down in tears as he said it happened to one of his close friends who himself is an ustadh, he said this girl in question is a khimarite, gentle, religiously upright infact most people close to her wish their children were like her, until she was spotted on Instagram clad with only pant and bra! (Subuanallahi)
The ustadh claimed he was the one that saw her accidentally as he is not use to Instagram, he couldn’t explaine how he has an Instagram account in the first place, he said he had to look at the pictures several times (astagafirullah) to ascertain he was not mistaking.
He said he didn’t know how to report the case to her parents and it took him days before he concluded to go to their house and let the cat out of the bag; when he got there, he asked of the girl after pleasantries of course, as her brother wanted to call her the ustadh as if Allah is directing him, stopped the brother and told the father to enter the room unannounced, fortunately the father complied, lo and behold she was there posting herself live and direct with only pant and bra.
The mother fainted instantly and the father and brother were so shocked. It was later learnt that she was always indoor, pretending to either reciting/ listening to Al-Qur’an or reading her books. In all her doing she was a child of envy.
These are few of the cases I have heard or seen.
Why all these storied?; Let’s monitor our children activities especially when they are still under us, don’t say I trust Kawthar/Dhikrullah, he/she will never disappoint me because of their outer appearances, converse with them discreetly to know what they are up to, check their phones, compell them to unlock it if it is coded.
Check if they have Instagram, twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook and many othe social media to know what they post or read. Admonish them from time to time about the injunctions of Allah😭😭😭😭😭.
When they are in school far away from us, let’s not stop the administration given to them at home, let’s pray for them extensively, and give them a surprise visit.
May Allah Subhanna Huwa Tahallah protect our offsprings from the temptation of shaytan/shayateens. May we not weep over them in anyway, may Allah make them the coolness of our eyes, guide them and us to the right paths, open their heart to the truth of Islam, make their hearts and feet firm on His religion and write our names in the register of those who,heard,obeyed, and shall enter Jannatu Firdaus bi Qudratillahi Tahallah.
