📌 Can you have sexual intercourse in a room in which there is a Mushaf ?

But that does not include a man having intercourse with his wife in a room in which there is a Mushaf , regardless of whether or not other rooms are available.

It is well known that the houses of most Muslims are not without Mushafs , but there is no report from any of the scholars – in what we have of their books – which suggests that it is not allowed for a man to have intercourse with his wife in a room in which there is a Mushaf. If that was an established principle in their view, they would have stated it and explained it, as they explained other issues of knowledge. As they did not mention such a case or similar cases, this indicates that the basic principle remains in effect.

📌 Is it permissible to take the Quran into the bedroom and read it in bed before sleeping, and put the Mushaf in a metal chest, but in the bedroom ?

They replied:

“It is permissible for someone to read the Quran in the bedroom and in bed , if he is not junub, and he may read from the Mushaf if he has wudu”

If it were haram to put the Mushaf in the bedroom, which is usually the place where intimacy takes place between spouses, the scholars would have explained that and would not have neglected it, because it is something that happens repeatedly and is something that people need to know.
