Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam was sure of his Salvation❗
“Say, I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will happen with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner.”
(Qur’an Al-Ahqaf 46: Verse 9)
The confused Christian missionaries don’t understand this verse and think it is referring to the Salvation of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Wrong. It is actually, merely correcting those ignorant Muslims who thought that the Prophet knew the Unseen, and had independent powers.
The verse is saying that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam does not know the future. Neither did Jesus Pbuh. Only Allah knows! Jesus Pbuh did not know when was the Day of Judgement, remember? 😊 and that it is in agreement of biblical verses
No One Knows The Future. Ecclesiastes 8:7, NIV Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?
No One Knows What The Future Holds! Ecclesiastes 10:14, NLT No one really knows what is going to happen; no one can predict the future.
Do Not Boast of Tomorrow. Tomorrow is not promised. Proverbs 27:1, NLT Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring.
You do not know what tomorrow will bring. Commit Everything You Do To God!
James 4:13-15, ESV Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit” – yet you do not know what
So these prophets were just human BEINGS like us only different is that revelation were descending upon them. So they could talk only what they hear. As also jesus lamented on. John 5:30.
Another point is… .. Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam did not have the power to guide people. Neither did Jesus Pbuh. Only Allah does! Jesus Pbuh was rejected by most of the Jews 🤷🏻♂
Jesus said ◄ John 6:65
New International Version He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam could not stop Allah if Allah decides to punish a person. Neither can Jesus Pbuh stop Allah /Elohim . Only Allah decides who enters His Heaven and His Hell. Jesus Pbuh said that “all authority is given unto me.” (Matthew 28:18). He can only act with the Permission of God.
So the above verse is not talking about the Salvation of the Prophet! But let’s see what Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam himself said! Was he really clueless about his own Salvation as the Christian liars allege? we do not blame the Christians but the holy ghost that mislead them.
Rabi’ah said: I used to spend my night (of prayer) in the company of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and used to prepare water for his ablutions. One day he (pleased with my service) said to me, “Ask something of me.” I said: “ I request for your company in Heaven.” He inquired, “Is there anything else?” I said, “That is all.” He said, “Then help me in your request (to be with me in Heaven) by multiplying your prostrations.” (Sahih Muslim)
This hadith shows that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam advises his Disciple to pray more, if he wishes to be in the Prophet’s company, at the highest and most splendid level of Heaven ( _Firdaus_) 😃
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) also said,
” I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him (or her), will be in Heaven like this ,” putting his index and middle fingers together.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6005)
And this hadith also proves that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam was certain of his Salvation and of his huge reward in Heaven for accomplishing his mission with excellence 😊
So the deceit of the missionaries has been exposed once again, alhamdulillah 🤲🏽
