GRAB THIS FORGOTTEN SUNNAH, A RARE OPPORTUNITY INDEED, WHICH IS BETWEEN SALĀH ADH-DHUHR & SALĀH AL-‘ASR ON EVERY WEDNESDAY!
Beloved brethren! May Allah accept all our supplications and grant us that which will gladden our hearts in this world, in the grave and life to come.
Beloved brethren As we all are in dire need of having our supplications accepted by Allāh, so I am presenting one of the forgotten Sunnahs of the Prophet (upon him be peace).
Had it been we have been observing it, many of our unanswered supplications would have been answered by Allāh’s Grace. Meanwhile, majority of us do persistently complain of our supplications unanswered nowadays. Of course they might remain unanswered on account of many factors among which are: our poor manners of supplicating, the use of incorrect formulas for calling on Allāh, neglecting optimum times in which supplications are quickly answered and etc.
Here I will limit myself to only one of the optimum times and this is a period between Salātul Dhuhr and Salātul ‘Asr on every Wednesdays.
Evidence: Jābir Ibn ‘AbduLLāh (may Allāh be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allāh (upon him be peace) supplicated to Allāh in this Masjid (Masjid Al-Fat-h) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. His du’ā’ was answered on Wednesday between the Prayers of Dhuhr and ‘Asr.
Jābir then said: _”There wasn’t anything that was crucially important for me to have solved except I called on Allāh during that hour of the day between Dhuhr and ‘Asr, knowing He would answer.”_ [See Al-Bukhārī in Adab Al-Mufrad (no. 703)] This has been graded Hasan by Shaikh Al-Albānī in Sahīh Adab Al-Mufrad.
Beloved brethren! This is a weekly grace & gift from Allāh, the Almighty, because He loves us so much and wishes that we succeed in this life and life to come. Will any one of us henceforth set his alarm to observe & derive divine benefits of these optimum hours? So grab this opportunity O you seeker of acceptable supplications!
Humble Supplication O Allāh! We ask You to grant us Your Pleasure though we deserve it not and save us from Your Anger though that is our lots, O You the Most Merciful.
