Zaynab Bint Khuzayma was the daughter of Khuzayma and the fifth wife of Holy Prophet (PBUH). She was born in 595 CE and was the first wife of Prophet (PBUH) who did not belong to Quraish tribe.
Zaynab Bint Khuzayma had married twice before marriage to Holy Prophet (PBUH) divorced and widowed in both respectively. She was called ‘Ummul Masakeen’ due her kind heartedness and compassion for the poor. Prophet (PBUH) married her in 3 AH.
She died soon after her marriage and was laid to rest in Jannatul Baqi. She was the first wife after Hazrat Khadija (R.A) to die before Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
