Warnings From Surah Sajdah

Allāh ﷻ says in Surah Sajdah
Then taste (the punishment) because of your forgetting the meeting of this Day of yours
Means, it will be said to the people of Hell by way of rebuke: ‘so taste the punishment because you tried to forget about it and acted as if you had forgotten it.’
Surely, We too will forget you,
[32:14]Means, `We will deal with you as if We have forgotten you,’ but nothing escapes Allāh’s attention, and He makes the punishment fit the crime,
Thus Allāh ﷻ says in another Ayah
And it will be said, “Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the Fire, and for you there are no helpers.
[45:34]And then Allāh ﷻ carries on in Surah Sajdah
And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do.
[32:14]Then Allāh ﷻ describes the Mu’mineen,
Only those who believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allāh] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
Indicating that those who do not fall in prostration are proud beings and are inviting the punishment of Allah ﷻ.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “Allāh Almighty said:
Grandeur is my cloak and greatness is my garment. Whoever competes with me in one of these two, I will cast him into the Hellfire.
[Sunan Abi Dawud 4090, Grade: Sahih according to Al-Arna’ut]
Their sides forsake their beds
It refers to either Qiyam Al Layl, or the Fajr and Isha Salah with Jama’ah.
they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration
Fearing His punishment, hoping for His reward.
and they spend out of what We have bestowed on them.
Referring to doing the Faraa’idh and the Nawafil acts of Ibadah.
Then Allāh ﷻ ends with,
No person knows what is kept hidden for them of delights of eyes
As in a Hadith Qudsi, Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet ﷺ said,
“Allāh said: I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human heart has conceived.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari 3244, Sahih Muslim 2824]May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
