Welcome to Ramadan 2025: A Month of Reflection, Renewal, and Reward

As we step into the blessed month of Ramadan 1446 AH (2025), we welcome this sacred time with gratitude and hope. Ramadan is not just a period of fasting; it is an opportunity for spiritual growth, self-discipline, and a renewed connection with Allah (SWT).

Key Advice for a Fruitful Ramadan

1. Strengthen Your Relationship with the Qur’an.
Ramadan is the month in which the Qur’an was revealed:
“The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185)

Dedicate time daily to reading, understanding, and reflecting on its message.

If possible, complete the recitation of the entire Qur’an during the month.

2. Perfect Your Salah (Prayer) and Engage in Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah)

Increase your dhikr (remembrance of Allah), as the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds, the purest in the sight of your Lord…? It is the remembrance of Allah.” (Tirmidhi, 3377)

3. Make Sincere Du’a (Supplication) and Seek Forgiveness

Allah says: “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:186)

Ask for guidance, mercy, and forgiveness, especially in the last ten nights.

4. Give Charity and Help Others

The Prophet (SAW) said: “The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” (Tirmidhi, 663)

Whether through Zakat or Sadaqah, helping the needy multiplies rewards and purifies wealth.

5. Observe Fasting with Patience and Reflection

Fasting is not just about abstaining from food but also from negative behavior.

The Prophet (SAW) said: “Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need of him giving up his food and drink.” (Bukhari, 1903)

6. Seek Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Decree)

This blessed night is better than a thousand months (Surah Al-Qadr 97:3).

Increase acts of worship in the last ten nights, especially on odd-numbered nights.

Final Thoughts

Ramadan is a chance to reset our faith, cleanse our hearts, and strive for righteousness. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and may we emerge from this month spiritually renewed and closer to Him.
