Ensure that your intention is for the sake of slaughtering it as an act of worship dedicated to Allaah alone…
Some say if they don’t buy ram, their wife no go let them hear word…
Some say so that their children won’t run to the neighbors house to beg for meat.
Some say so they won’t be looked down upon…
If these and several other reasons are your primary motivation to slaughter ram, just know that you will only benefit from the meat.
Try as much as possible to purify your intention before purchasing your ram.
If you are owing debts, it is better you clear your debt first. But if you still want to slaughter and pay your debt later, seek relief from your creditor first….
Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.
