The reason for war against the Byzantine Empire was that one of Muhammad’s (PBUH) ambassadors was killed by Sharhabeel bin ‘Amr Al-Ghassani (the governor of Al-Balqa) invaded the war. The Battle of Tabuk was a military expedition, which was initiated by the Muhammad (PBUH) in 630 CE against Byzantine army.
